STDs are diseases that mostly affect those people who have unprotected sexual relations with one or more partners. Those who are infected with this diseases often experience sores, pus and a burning sensation when urinating. After two to five days of being infected, women symptoms start showing up. It is therefore imperative for one to go for an STD test in order to know the severity and presence of the disease.
Most people refer to chlamydia as a silent disease as it takes quite some time for one to know that they are infected. The symptoms usually start weeks after infection. Some of the symptoms include lower abdominal pain, painful periods, painful urination, smelly discharge among others. Going for an STD test on a regular basis will help you know whether you are infected or not.
As much as seeing multiple partners isn’t wrong, one should be very careful as it takes a toll on one’s health. The safest way to avoid getting infected is by using protection during intercourse.
